AI-SEO Page Auditor privacy policy.

This page describes how the AI-SEO Page Auditor Chrome extension (“the extension”) handles data. It applies only to the extension — not to the AutomateLab website as a whole. For site-wide practices, see Privacy & terms.

Last updated 2026-06-23. This is a plain-English summary, not legal advice.

Who we are

The extension is published by AutomateLab (automatelab.tech). Open-source source code: AutomateLab-tech/ai-seo-page-auditor-chrome.

What the extension does

When you click the extension icon and press Audit this page, the extension audits the active tab’s URL for AI-citation / AEO / GEO readiness (43 checks). It may open a full report on automatelab.tech/tools/ai-seo-checker/ if you choose that option.

Data we collect

The extension handles only the following:

We do not collect or request:

How we use data

Server logs

Requests to /api/audit-fetch may be logged server-side (requested URL, timestamp, response status) for abuse prevention and reliability. Logs are not used to build user profiles. We do not require an account.

Permissions explained

Third parties

The extension does not embed third-party analytics, ads, or social trackers. The only external service is AutomateLab’s audit-fetch endpoint on automatelab.tech. We do not sell or rent user data.

Remote code

The extension does not download or execute remote code. All logic ships inside the extension package. Network responses are JSON and HTML text used as audit input — not executable scripts.

Data retention and deletion

Children

The extension is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy when the extension changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Material changes will be reflected here before or with a new Chrome Web Store release.
