Bad User API key / Unauthorized User API key

Cause

The 'Override OpenAI Base URL' toggle routes Anthropic API requests through OpenAI's endpoint, so auth fails even with a valid key.

Fix

Go to Settings > Models > API Keys and turn OFF 'Override OpenAI Base URL'. Restart Cursor, open a new chat, select a Claude model, and retry. If the toggle re-enables, disable it again and confirm it stays off before each session.
