BreadcrumbList
Schema.org type representing the trail of parent pages above the current page — drives breadcrumb display in SERPs.
Definition
BreadcrumbList is the Schema.org type marking the hierarchy of pages leading to the current one. Google uses it to replace the URL line in search results with a readable breadcrumb. Most CMS themes emit BreadcrumbList JSON-LD automatically. It is a low-effort, high-impact addition for site structure both for SEO and for LLM context.
