Plain-English summary of what AutomateLab collects, the analytics we run, and the terms that govern this website and our engagements. No dark patterns, no resold data.
This is a general statement, not legal advice. For a specific data-processing agreement on an engagement, ask on the intro call.
Privacy
What we collect
Two things, and only when you give them to us or visit the site:
- Contact-form submissions. The name, email, and message you send through the contact form. We use these only to reply to you and scope a possible engagement.
- Anonymous usage analytics. Aggregate page views and referrers, used to see which content is useful. No profiles are built or sold.
Analytics and cookies
We run three trackers. You can block all of them with a standard ad/tracker blocker and the site still works fully:
- Matomo, self-hosted on our own server at
/analytics/. Data stays with us and is never shared. - Google Analytics 4, for aggregate traffic trends. Governed by Google’s privacy terms.
- Microsoft Clarity, for anonymised, aggregated interaction metrics. Governed by Microsoft’s privacy terms.
Who we share it with
Nobody, beyond the analytics providers named above and our email provider used to deliver contact-form replies. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We do not run advertising pixels for retargeting.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete any personal data you have sent us. Email hello@automatelab.tech and we will action it within a reasonable period. Blocking cookies in your browser, or using a tracker blocker, opts you out of all analytics.
Data retention
Contact-form emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting engagement, then deleted. Analytics data is retained in aggregate.
Terms of use
The website
Content on this site is provided for general information. We keep it accurate and current where we can, but make no warranty that every figure or claim is complete or up to date. Third-party statistics are cited with their source so you can verify them directly.
Our open-source products
The tools, skills, MCP servers, and datasets we publish are released under their own open-source licences, stated in each repository. Those licences govern your use of them and take precedence over this page.
Engagements
Service scope, deliverables, pricing, and ownership are agreed in writing before any engagement starts. Indicative timelines and starting prices on this site are not an offer or a binding quote. The written agreement governs the work.
Intellectual property
The AutomateLab name, logo, and site copy are ours. Trademarks of other products named on this site belong to their respective owners and are used only for identification.
