User experience — the total quality of a user's interaction with a product, including UI, flow, and emotional response.
Definition
User Experience covers the entire arc of how a person feels using a product: discoverability, learnability, efficiency, error recovery, satisfaction. Good UX requires good UI, but also good flow, sensible defaults, fast performance, and honest communication. The discipline emerged from human-computer interaction research and now spans research, design, prototyping, and measurement.
